Micro influencer

Definition

A creator with 10,000 to 100,000 followers. Micro influencers combine a meaningful audience with engagement rates that are still high. They are the most common tier in paid campaigns because they balance reach, cost and credibility.

Why it matters

Most brands get their best cost per engagement from micro creators. Over half of Instagram creators with 1,000+ followers are micro.
