Cost per engagement

Definition

Spend divided by likes, comments, saves and shares received. Cost per engagement measures what each interaction cost after the fact. It is the cleanest post-campaign comparison across creators of different sizes.

Why it matters

It tells you who to rebook. The creator with the lowest cost per engagement is usually not the biggest one.

Formula

CPE = spend ÷ (likes + comments [+ saves + shares])

How Zaver measures it

With post metrics refreshed into a sheet, CPE is one formula over the Deliverables tab.
