An Airbnb host's art café in Lisbon: a creator plan a two-person team can run without hiring an agency

A couple run a four-room guesthouse in Lisbon with an art café on the ground floor. Weekends are full; weekdays are empty, and the room bookings that come through the café are the best-margin bookings they get. They cannot afford an agency retainer and do not have time to learn a platform. The whole creator job runs from Claude with Zaver and Gmail connected, plus the Google Sheets add-on for tracking: find small local creators, check who actually follows them, get public contacts, send gifted-visit invitations with a small fee for one Reel, and track plays and promo-code redemptions in one sheet. About three hours a week for one person.

The job

The café needs weekday footfall and the guesthouse needs the kind of guest who finds it through the café: people in their late twenties and thirties who live in or visit Lisbon and follow local food, coffee and art accounts. The owners have tried the usual options. An agency means a monthly retainer with a minimum term, which is more than the whole creator budget. A discovery platform means a seat licence, forty filters, and exports they would still have to turn into emails and a spreadsheet by hand. What they have is a Gmail account, a Google Sheet, an assistant they already talk to, and a few hours a week.

Find small local creators in one ask

Find Lisbon creators who post about cafés, specialty coffee, art and neighbourhood life, 5k to 60k followers, mostly Portuguese and English speaking audience

Zaver screened 200 profiles against the brief and ranked 25: food reviewers, a what's-on-in-Lisbon account, a barista who writes, two painters, an illustrator and a food writer, most between 10,000 and 36,000 followers. Three results were café or roaster brand accounts rather than people; Zaver flags those, so they were skipped as creators and kept as possible venue partners. The table is the actual ranking with handles masked.

Check who actually follows them before writing

Before I write to anyone, check the top pick: who actually follows them, real-follower share, engagement against similar accounts, and what one post should cost

One creator insight report answered all four questions. The audience was 78 percent in Portugal and 28 percent in Lisbon, mostly 25 to 34 and two-thirds women, which is the café's weekday crowd. Authenticity was 88 out of 100 with no detected brand deals in the sample. Engagement was low for the tier at 0.34 percent, although Reels averaged about 3,800 plays, and Zaver's fair price was $40 to $75 per sponsored post. The read: the audience is right, so offer a gifted visit plus a small fee and ask for a Reel, not a static post. The figures are from the report.

Contact enrichment returned a public business email for seven of the eight, one with a public phone number too, and noted which ones ask for partnerships by DM or go through an agency. The eighth listed only a website, so that one is an Instagram DM. Cost: 8 credits. Addresses are masked.

    Six invitations, one approved draft

Draft an invitation for the 6 creators I ticked: coffee and cake for two on us, a small fee for one Reel, and they can use the code ART10 for their followers. Keep it short and friendly, in English, from me. Show me one first.

The offer is sized to the fair price Zaver returned: a gifted visit for two, 60 euros for one Reel posted within two weeks, and a 10 percent code the creator can give followers so both sides can see what it does. The host approves one draft, Claude personalises six and sends them individually from the host's Gmail.

Visits, Reels, and a sheet that fills itself

Put the 6 into my campaign tracker sheet with status, and once a Reel is live, pull its views, likes and comments every Monday. Add a column for ART10 redemptions that I'll type from the till.

The tracker is the free Zaver template: one row per creator with status, visit day, Reel link, then the columns the Google Sheets add-on fills (plays, likes, comments) on a weekly schedule. The host types ART10 redemptions from the till. Cost per play and cost per redemption are formulas. Replies that turn into Stories instead of a Reel, or into a decline, are just a status change. The scene shows the tracker on the day the invitations went out; the metric columns fill in as each Reel goes live.

Decide with numbers, repeat with the ones that worked

Which of the six brought people in? Compare cost per play and ART10 redemptions, and find three more creators like the best one

With plays and redemptions in one sheet, the decision is a sort. The creator with the lowest cost per redemption gets a second visit for the next art opening; the lookalike search finds three similar accounts for the following month. Discovery repeats are free within seven days, and the next month's ask is the same sentence with a different wall.

What it costs: this stack against hiring an agency

The point of the plan is not that creators are free. It is that a two-person business can run the whole job for the price of one plan and a few gifted visits, with no retainer and no minimum term.

Outcome

Six invitations go out in week one, visits get booked as replies arrive, and each Reel is tied to the ART10 code so the till shows which creator brought people in. The host spends about three hours a week, pays creators only for Reels that go live, and keeps every contact and number in their own sheet. The following month is the same ask again with a new wall and three lookalike creators found from the ones that worked.

Questions

Is this a real campaign?

Yes. A two-person guesthouse with an art café in Lisbon. The discovery search, the audience report and the contact lookup on this page were run in Zaver on 30 October 2026 and are shown with creator identities masked. Results are measured in the tracker as Reels go live and the ART10 code is used at the till.

Why micro creators and not one big account?

A café sells to people who can walk in. The audience report showed the checked creator's followers were 78 percent in Portugal and 28 percent in Lisbon. A large national or international account would cost more and send fewer people through the door.

Why gifted visits plus a small fee?

Zaver's fair price for the checked creator was $40 to $75 per sponsored post. A gifted visit for two plus 60 euros for one Reel is inside that range, pays only for content that goes live, and gives the creator something genuine to post about.

How do you know which creator brought people in?

Each creator gets the same code, ART10, in their own Reel or Stories; the till count goes into the tracker next to the creator's plays. Cost per play and cost per redemption are formulas in the sheet template.

Do I need Claude specifically?

No. ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client works with the same Zaver connection. Gmail sending needs an assistant with a Gmail connector; the Google Sheets add-on works on its own.

What does it cost in credits?

About 30 credits for the month: 1 for discovery, 10 for one audience report, 8 for contact enrichment, and a few for weekly post metrics on six rows. The Starter plan includes 2,000 a month.
