Engagement benchmark

Definition

The typical engagement rate for creators of a given size or niche. A benchmark is the reference point a creator's engagement is compared against. Size-tier benchmarks matter most because engagement falls predictably as follower counts rise.

Why it matters

Benchmarks turn "4.1%" into "strong for a mid account" or "weak for a nano account", which is the judgement you actually need.

How Zaver measures it

Every insight report shows engagement versus the tier benchmark as a multiple, for example 2.1× benchmark.
